The Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Tripura, is planning to develop a web portal focusing on fulfilling the daily needs of basic public services like electricians, plumbers, wiremen, refrigeration and air-conditioning technicians, carpenters, computer operators, data entry operators etc. All the technicians in Tripura will be able to enroll in this portal through a self-registration system.


Objective:
This digital platform shall facilitate citizens' search for technicians as per their requirements, where people can easily search for and get the service providers, skill holders, or ITI pass-outs as per their needs in the desired location.

The department of Industries and commerce is headed by the Hob’ble Minister of Industries. The administrative head of the department is Additional Chief Secretary ( Industries).
The Directorate of Industries and Commerce is located in Vikas Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram and is headed by the Director of Industries and Commerce. The department implements various schemes for promoting the Industrial ecosystem in the state and also promotes Registering, Financing and advising to MSMES.
