Winner Announcement for Focus Tripura – Reel Making Contest

Tripura, with its picturesque landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant traditions, offers countless stories waiting to be captured and shared with the world. To encourage citizens to creatively showcase the State’s tourism potential, Tripura Tourism organised the “Focus Tripura – Reel Making Contest” through the MyGov Tripura platform. The contest invited citizens, students, travellers, youths and content creators from across Tripura to capture and present the beauty and diversity of the State through engaging short-form videos.

New Tripura Sector Agnostic Startup Policy

Tripura Sector-Agnostic Start-Up Policy is an initiative of the Govt of Tripura to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the state by recognizing potential entities as start-ups. It focuses on supporting the development and improvement of innovative products, processes, and services. The policy facilitates the scaling-up of ideas into sustainable business models with high potential for employment generation and wealth creation within the state. It envisions making Tripura one of the top Start-Up destinations in the North East by 2028.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Initiatives by Directorate of Information Technology, Govt of Tripura

As part of the 75-week-long Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), the Directorate of Information Technology (DIT), Government of Tripura undertook various activities to showcase the achievements of the State and celebrated the contributions of the citizens. Events included small-scale to large-scale targeted at start-ups/ entrepreneurs, government employees and common citizens.

Tripura IT Start-up Scheme

Tripura IT Start-up scheme-2019 is an initiative of the Govt of Tripura to promote Ideas/Innovations of potential entrepreneurs in the state & recognising them as start-ups. It is also working towards innovation, development and improvement of products, process and services. It is working towards the scaling-up of ideas towards a feasible business model with a high potential of employment generation and wealth creation in the state. Till March 2022 total 10 Start-ups has been got recognized under this scheme.
